Chris Hedgate coaches software development teams to improve their development processes. Sometimes he works in a facilitating coach role to help organizations develop high-producing teams. Using techniques such as retrospectives he helps them improve team dynamics and collaboration.
Other times his role is more of a player-coach. Similarly to player-coaches in sports, this means that he works as a part of the team while also mentoring the team members. In this role the focus is on creating quality software that can be used and modified over and over again.
n the best of worlds, Chris works together with a colleague from Blueplane to fill both these roles and support each other in giving maximum value to the client organization.
