Marcus Ahnve
Marcus Ahnve heads the Swedish office of ThoughtWorks, a global IT
consultancy with a goal to revolutionize the IT industry by changing the
way that enterprise software is delivered. He specializes in agile
methodologies and web development preferably in Ruby.
Marcus experience in agile development dates back to 1996 and his first
project which was done in Smalltalk. In 2001 he started doing XP
development and has since then explored new ways of making development
more effective, economical and fun. Marcus is one of the founders of the
community conference on agile methods Agila Sverige held yearly in
Stockholm.
Marcus was introduced to Ruby in 2001 listening to Matz speak at that
years JAOO conference. He has been developing web applications using
Ruby since 2005 using Rails, Merb and lately Ramaze.
