We have introduced Open Events to be a possible for other parties and companies to run workshops, courses and user group meetings in Gothenburg during the week of the Conference (week 13). Spring framework - half day tutorial

Hamid SamadiSpring is a leading java EE application framework. In this hands-on, attendees learn how to use Spring to rapidly build java EE application. Attendees learn and practice Spring Core (Dependency Injection), AOP and DAO (JDBC and Hibernate ORM) and introduction to other modules such as Spring MVC. This is a very compact hands-on training that will "inject" lots of Java knowledge to attendees in short.

Target audience:

All attendees must have at least one year of full-time Java experience.

Hands-on/Lecture Ratio:

This class is 50% hands-on, 50% lecture.

Software needed on your PC (Don't forget to bring your laptop):

  • Java SE SDK
  • Eclipse

Training outline:

  • Introduction to Spring framework
  • Dependency injection and bean wiring (hands-on)
  • AOP and advising beans (hands-on)
  • Spring DAO (database access object) using Jdbc & Hibernate (hands-on)
  • Other modules and futures (Transaction management, MVC, Web flow and so on)
